The Van Mildert Association (VMA) visited College for a brilliant weekend planning out the next year of alumni events.
A brilliant weekend was spent when the Van Mildert Association (VMA) visited college this February. The VMA is the College's official alumni body.
The visit saw the committee members plans out the next year of events, looking forward to the upcoming 'Mildert Meets' events (which provide a great chance for alumni to meet and talk all things Mildert) and of course the annual summer reunion taking place the first weekend of July.
The weekend was a lovely reminder of how Van Mildert College is so loved by so many. The members delighted in Mildert nostalgia, experiencing the famous Mildert Brunch, glimpsing the iconic colourful glass block windows in the accommodation blocks and some members even stepped back a couple of decades to serve in the College shop again, which has recently been renamed 'The Quack Shack'.
The next 'Mildert Meets' event is on 17 April at The Admiralty Pub, Trafalgar Square! If you are an alumni or current JCR member please come along and hang out with the past versions of yourself, or just enjoy some nostalgic chat.
