This panel event is organised and hosted by the English Department with support of Careers & Enterprise to provide an opportunity to hear from a range of speakers, all Durham alumni who studied English, who are now working in sectors linked to communications, marketing, and the creative industries.

The panel will share their career journeys and provide an insight into their roles and organisations. They will be taking your questions, and will share their experiences, tips, and advice on a range of topics including:

  • How they got started with their career
  • Developing skills and experience
  • Progression opportunities and challenges in their sector
  • Advice and insights on what it's like working in their sector

The Department is excited to invite the below alumni:

  • Nina Sprange (Film Marketing (EMEA) Graduate, Warner Bros. Discovery)

This event is open to all Arts & Humanities students in ANY year of study but will be of particular interest to students studying English.
