A special workshop aimed at postgraduate students, early career researchers, and anyone else who might be interested in the work of REED and on working with records of early performance, run by Dr Diana Wyatt and Dr Mark Chambers.
Along with Library staff, Dr Wyatt and Dr Chambers will introduce attendees to some of the manuscript evidence for drama and performance from the Durham records. This will also include some hands-on work with original manuscript documents, including introduction to basic paleography and codicology.
This workshop will accompany the annual Medieval English Theatre Society Meeting on Saturday 28th March hosted by Durham this year.
