On Monday 17 March 2025, the Daily Telegraph published an article on the Vaccine Damage Payments Scheme (VDPS), featuring Professor Richard Goldberg.
The article focused on the assessment of the COVID -19 vaccine damage claims under the VDPS and the fact that while nearly 13,000 medical assessments have been made, they have been dismissed in 98 per cent of cases. Professor Goldberg was interviewed for this article and made observations about the need to increase the scheme's transparency and for 'rigorous criteria to determine causation, as well as a system that is fair and accessible.
