Post-offer Visit Day

Welcome to Durham Law SchoolCongratulations on receiving your offer to study at Durham University. Durham Law is among the leading law schools in the country, and we hope that your post-offer visit day will inspire you and give you a taste of what to expect if you come to Durham.

What to look forward to on your day in Durham:

• You will meet the Dean of the Law School, Professor Volker Roeben
• You will hear about the Durham LLB and what it has to offer
• You will be able to sample a mini taster lecture
• As a research-intensive school, you will learn about the vast range of research expertise that the Law School has to offer

Schedule

Post-offer visit days will take place on Saturday 14 March 2026 and Saturday 25 April 2026

Each day will have two separate sessions: 10.00 am - 12.00 pm and 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm

Each session will include:

• A welcome by the Dean of the Law School
• An introduction to Durham Law School by the Director of Admissions (Law)
• A short Law Taster Lecture 
• A Q&A session with Durham Law students

Information for Guests of Offer-holders

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests of offer-holders in the department sessions however, we would like to extend a warm welcome. Guests of offer-holders are encouraged to drop-in to speak to central services during the event at the Information Hub. You are also welcome to see our facilities, such as the Bill Bryson Library and the Sports and Wellbeing Park.
