BSc Psychology (C800)

Studying psychology at Durham allows you to understand the way we think, act and behave across a wide variety of topics and develop your analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have lots of opportunities to engage with world class research and innovative teaching across cognitive, developmental and social psychology. Students will learn about both the experimental approach to understanding psychology and the application of that knowledge in the real world.

BSc Psychological and Behavioural Science (C807)

The BSc in Psychological and Behavioural Science combines a broad-based education on psychology with a specialisation in cutting-edge behavioural science. Behavioural science is a fast-growing discipline concerned with the application of behavioural insights to behaviour change challenges commonly faced by public, private, and third sector organisations. A unique, BPS accredited programme that allows students to graduate with a deep and comprehensive understanding of the field of psychology, whilst also providing a timely and soughts-after specialisation in the application of behavioural insights. (Please note that this programme is called BSc Behavioural Science (C803) for students starting before September 2022).

 

Joint Honours Programmes

In collaboration with other departments at Durham University we now offer a number of exciting joint honours degrees in a wide range of subjects.

Also the BSc and MSci Natural Sciences degree programmes allows you to combine subjects to design your own broad based degree programme or follow one of a large number of Joint Honours degrees. Examples of this are;

  • BSc Psychology and Economics
