Welcome Talia Ritondo

The Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences would like to extend a warm welcome to visiting PhD student, Talia Ritondo.
Talia Ritondo is a 4th year PhD Candidate studying at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. She enjoys conducting qualitative research to examine discourses surrounding gender, sport, leisure, and policy. Her current work explores the relationship between Canadian safe sport policy and pregnant and parenting National Team athletes’ experiences and needs. For her leisure, she enjoys playing volleyball, playing board games, and creating pottery.
Talia will be with Dr Hester Hockin-Boyers and Dr Emily Tupper.
