Registration for Credit-bearing Modules

The table below lists the credit-bearing modules which will be offered for the 2023-24 academic year.

Please note that links in the table are to the descriptions for the 2022-23 modules and are intended for guidance only. Links to the 2023-24 module descriptions will be added when available.

Stage 1 assumes no prior study of the language. *However in French and Spanish, we offer additional stage 1 modules: ‘French 1B’ and ‘Spanish Stage 1 Plus’. They are intended for native speakers of, or those with prior ability at CEFR B1 or above in another Romance language. Students should otherwise have no, or very limited direct exposure to French / Spanish (as applicable). 

Registration

Registration is now open. Please note that registration is a two part process. After ensuring that your registration is permittable within the restrictions for credit-bearing modules, you will need to:

1. Complete a Language Declaration form.

2. Submit your choice of module on Banner Self-Service (once registration opens).

Language Declarations forms will be reviewed and registrations processed over the summer.
