As part of the Royal Society of Arts and N8 event programme 'UP North', Durham University is hosting a day of talks, discussions and debate from a diverse group of experts. Hear from speakers with lived and learned experience, on how new partnerships across universities, local authorities, cultural and heritage institutions, the creative sector, industry and more can generate new opportunities for our region and create an exciting future.

Ideas Forum
Hear short presentations from researchers, community leaders, students, industry experts, individuals and organisations large and small. This event will condense ideas to spark powerful conversation in an intimate environment.
The event is free and all welcome, but tickets are limited. Booking in advance is crucial. There will be a reception and networking opportunities from 5:15pm-6:00pm.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
