Postgraduate Inspiring Excellence Scholarships Information Session

The Postgraduate Inspiring Excellence Scholarships are competitive awards to support outstanding self-funded international students starting in September 2026 with £5,000 or £10,000 towards tuition fees for an eligible postgraduate taught programme.

• 1st round Postgraduate Scholarship application deadline: 16 January 2026 (midnight GMT)  Passed
• Additional round Postgraduate Scholarship application deadline: 20 March 2026 (midnight GMT)
• 2nd round Postgraduate Scholarship application deadline: 29 May 2026 (midnight GMT)

Selection process
Selections are based on your achievements and potential to make a positive impact after completing your degree at Durham. 
In addition to the application form responses, nationality diversity and balance across programmes will also be considered in the selection process.
