We are pleased to announce Katie Harland-Edminson as our new Chief Development Officer (CDO).
Katie joined the University in 2020 and is currently Director of Philanthropy in our Development and Alumni Relations Office. In this role she has overseen fundraising strategy and delivery and secured transformative gifts for institutional priorities.
Katie brings 15 years of experience in development and alumni engagement and a strong personal track record of fundraising success.
Katie takes up this role with immediate effect. As CDO, she will lead Campaign 200, an ambitious fundraising effort to raise £200m by our bicentenary in 2032.
She will work closely and collaboratively with our Vice-Chancellor, Executive Director, Communications & External Relations, and Campaign Board to engage funders and influencers, and secure transformational gifts.
Katie will lead the Development and Alumni Relations Office, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
