European Adaptive Optics Summer School 

The latest edition of the European Adaptive Optics Summer School was held in Durham from the 13^th to the 17^th July. Over 40 attendees from research institutes and industry attended the one-week course where participants receive instruction and hands-on experience of designing, building and operating Adaptive Optics systems for a wide range of applications. This was the 7^th edition of the Summer School, but the first time it's been held in Durham. The feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive and the organisers from Durham, Newcastle and Northumbria Universities want to pass on a huge thanks to all the CfAI staff and students who helped to run the school, and the sponsors who supported it. We're all looking forward to the 8^th edition next year!
