Purpose
This session is intended to identify and prioritise a small number of strong, fundable project ideas for the ARIA Seed Funding call (up to £500k per project).
The focus is on developing viable concepts, not just informal discussion.
Format
- Identification and discussion of possible projects which match the brief
- Identification of complementary expertise
- Critical evaluation against the ARIA brief
- Selection of projects to take forward
Colleagues with experience of similar funding calls will be present to help shape proposals and assess feasibility.

Scope
We are particularly interested in:
- Interdisciplinary projects
- Clearly defined problems with novel approaches
- Ideas that can be developed into a credible application within the ARIA framework (For example: computational × experimental collaborations, or cross-domain approaches such as computer science and psychology.)
Next Steps
Selected projects will be supported through a small grant-writing group, with the aim of submitting competitive applications to ARIA.

Open to all interested researchers.
Attendance is particularly encouraged for those:
- considering submitting to ARIA
- seeking collaborators
- with relevant technical or methodological expertise
