Dr Adebola Adeyemi, Assistant Professor in the Durham Law School and a valued member of the Centre for Sustainable Development Law and Policy, delivered a paper titled 'Promoting a Green Economy through the UK's Critical Minerals Policy Framework'. The research was presented on 15th of February 2024, during a seminar to celebrate the establishment of the Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (GMU), Indonesia. The theme of the seminar was “Achieving Sustainability through Green Economy Policies". The panel consisted of other speakers including Dr Satoshi Ishihara (Senior Social Development Specialist, The World Bank) and Prof Paripurna Sugarda (GMU, Indonesia). The event was was moderated by Dr Yun Santoso.
