For discussion: Sharing Research Methods Practices Across Disciplines
Research methods are commonly characterised as tools, laid out in text-books as principled procedures, but how are research methods practiced in the messiness that is 'real life'? To what extent does research rely on tacit knowledge? How are learning and innovation of practices shaped by (inter-)disciplinary research environments? How are skills distributed across a research team and transmitted across generations of
researchers outside of formal training? How do these factors affect the quality of both research outputs and research environments, enabling researchers to flourish? Join us for this interdisciplinary conversation to explore similarities and differences from across the natural sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities...

For PGR Students & Staff.

Our Café conversations are in-person and free fresh coffee/tea is on offer!
