Based within the Department of Sociology at Durham University, the Centre for Research into Violence and Abuse (CRiVA) has research impact at its core.
Our researchers have strong connections with policy and practice, based upon our driving force of working towards ending violence and abuse across society. We have nearly 100 staff members and researchers and a further 200 individuals from the UK and abroad, working on multi-disciplinary research from across the departments of Sociology, Law School and beyond. We provide free webinars for practitioners, policy makers, survivors and other community members.
If you are interested in getting involved with CRiVA, please send us an email or contact us via our LinkedIn Page.
