Bayan Al Mahri
Biography
Bayan Al Mahri is a PhD researcher at Durham Law School. Her research interests lie in criminal law and criminal justice, with a particular focus on sentencing, community sanctions, alternatives to imprisonment, rehabilitation, and penal reform. Before starting her PhD, she was a Lecturer in Criminal Law at Sultan Qaboos University and previously practised as a lawyer in Oman.
