• Daniel’s research focuses on three core areas:
• 1. Monitoring, evaluating, and quantifying the performance of blue–green infrastructure and nature-based solutions in mitigating and attenuating urban flood risk;
• 2. Flood risk analysis and resilience assessment, with a focus on understanding the impacts of fluvial and surface water flooding on urban infrastructure and services;
• 3. Modelling urban surface water flooding driven by intense precipitation, using integrated numerical models and experimental rainfall simulator approaches.
