Biography
My PhD project, Animating the Artificial: Anthropomorphism, Classical Literature, and Critical Engagements with AI in Education, is a Digital Classics project exploring how secondary school students understand voice, agency and authority in Classical texts and conversations with large language models (LLMs). Through close reading of selected ancient texts and AI-generated dialogues, I will use Freirean culture circles with pupils in England and Greece to examine how they interpret human-like qualities in non-human voices. The project aims to support critical AI literacy by creating space for young people to question how language shapes their perceptions of AI and the trust they place in it.
