Biography
I am a PhD researcher in Computer Science at Durham University, working at the intersection of visual perception, immersive technologies, and computational methods.
My background spans applied physics and computer science. Before starting my PhD in 2025, I completed an MSc in Computer Science with Distinction and a BSc in Applied Physics, and worked at Microsoft as an Azure Engineer.
My current research focuses on visually induced self-motion (vection) in immersive environments, with particular interests in objective measurement, behavioural modelling, multimodal sensing, and perceptually adaptive virtual reality systems. More broadly, I am interested in visual psychophysics, computational perception, computer vision, computer graphics, and human motion analysis.
