Aims

  • In todays global business environment, organisations increasingly require a data-driven culture. The Advanced Data, Digital and Global Business Analytics module seeks to equip students with practical digital and business analytics skills crucial for organising, managing, and transforming global businesses. These skills are also crucial for cultivating and embedding data-driven decision-making and culture. The module will strive to introduce students to a diverse range of tools crucial for analysing and interpreting large amounts of data to inform cross-border business decisions.

  • The lectures and practical classes within this module will be organised around the following themes/topics:
  • Introduction to data mining techniques.
  • Analytics models.
  • Digital analytics.
  • Global supply chain management analytics.
  • Cross-border investment analytics.
  • Text mining and natural language processing for global business.
  • Global business analytics.
  • Big data, blockchain analytics and implications for global business.

  • Upon successful completion of the Advanced Data, Digital and Global Business Analytics module, the students will have:
