Durham Climate Hub talk: Go electric 2030: talk and discussion about the potential for electric vehicles and car clubs in County Durham.

Mick Marston, from the Derwent Valley Car Club, will be joined by David Malone and Steve Emsley as experienced electric vehicle (EV) car drivers, George Kinghorn from Kinghorn Electric Vehicles and Net Zero Team Leads from Durham County Council (DCC) to discuss the potential for expanding the use of EVs and EV car clubs in County Durham, and the infrastructure needed to support this.
The speakers will answer any questions you may have, such as: How do EV car clubs work? What are the pros and cons, environmentally and practically? What are DCC’s plans for developing public charging points? If buying an electric car as an individual, what to look out for? How to facilitate kerbside home charging?
