Food Made Good 3* rating

We are proud to announce that Durham University has been awarded 3 stars for Food Made Good by the Sustainable Restaurant Association, recognising our leadership in sustainable food practices.

This achievement reflects our commitment to the University’s Sustainability Ambition Statement, responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship.
This milestone connects to wider initiatives, such as collaborations with MyEmissions, which provides carbon ratings for every meal served, empowering informed choices.
Completing the accreditation was a team effort between the Energy and Sustainability, Catering, Procurement and HR teams.
