Green Move Out 2025

Helps us reduce waste while supporting local charities by donating clothing, shoes, non-perishable food and electrical items when you move out this year.

Your purple bag will be delivered to your college or house in the coming days. Fill it with unwanted clothing, shoes, bedding, books, electrical items or non-perishable food items then leave it outside of your property or at your college between June and August. 

All donations are collected by County Durham Furniture Help Scheme who distribute to local charities.

Do you have larger items, such as bedding or a mattress? Contact CDFHS on 01388 721509 to arrange collection.

Can you spare a few hours and help us deliver bags to students? Register to volunteer here.
