Grey to Green continued...

With support from the Sustainability Team, students from Grey College planted a mix of silver birch and hazel amongst existing mature birch trees, while also planting the woodland edge with a mix of gorse, hawthorn, grey willow, elder and dogrose.

Biodiversity Manager, Ian Armstrong, said:
'Once the trees, shrubs and flowers establish, I’m sure it won't take long before this area of the college is full of wildlife'
