I’ve been fortunate to intern at the Centre for Programmable Biological Matter (CPBM), part of the Durham University Biosciences department. This opportunity was kindly funded by Cuth’s. St Cuthbert's Society is a warm and welcoming place, where I’ve made good friends and many fond memories.

I recently had the privilege of attending the Microbiology Society Annual Conference 2025, thanks to the contributions of the St Cuthberts Society Postgraduate Prize. At this conference, I had the honour of being able to present my PhD work as a poster at the UK’s largest annual microbiologist gathering.
