Welcome event for first generation scholars
The Geography Department welcomes students and staff who are the one of the first in their family to study at University to join us for coffee tea and cake at our termly First Generation Coffee Hour on Wednesday 21 January from 10-11. Please bring a mug.

If you consider yourself to be one of the first people in your family / care setting to be studying at university you are invited to come along to this departmental event! You will have an opportunity to meet other first-generation students and staff and to find out how the Geography department can support you in your studies and during your time at Durham University. You can also find out more about the work of the EDI Group in the department how to get involved!
