The Durham Dialogues on Law, Code and Society
The Durham Dialogues on Law, Code and Society convenes scholars, practitioners, technologists and policy experts for two days of interdisciplinary exchange on the evolving relationship between technology, governance and social life.
Through two high-level discussion panels and a dedicated works-in-progress workshop, the event creates a space for rigorous reflection on the legal, technical, political and institutional challenges posed by digital systems and emerging technologies. Bringing together voices from civil society, government, academia and legal practice, the Dialogues foster critical conversation across disciplinary and professional boundaries. The workshop will feature papers by early and mid-career scholars from Durham, Sheffield, Glasgow and Swansea.
