Durham Law School Alumni Lunch: Singapore

On Tuesday, 15 September, Professor Claire O’Malley, Pro Vice Chancellor (Global), accompanied colleagues from the Law School and the International Office to host a Durham Law School networking lunch at the offices of Simmons & Simmons for alumni based and working in Singapore.
Colleagues and alumni sat together for a roundtable discussion, which included topics such as the legal landscape in Singapore and how Durham Law School can continue to support our students seeking to work in the city. It was fantastic to engage with so many engaged alumni who speak so fondly of their time at Durham Law School.
Later that evening, we supported DARO colleagues at a university wide alumni event, attended by the Vice - Chancellor & Warden, Professor Karen O’Brien.
We were also very grateful to Emily Monastiriotis, Global Managing Partner, and a Founder Member of the DLSAA, for offering to host us at their offices and for also providing a toast to our alumni guests. Huge thanks also to the team at the offices of Simmons & Simmons, Singapore, for their exceptional support throughout the lunch and evening event.
We are hugely proud of our alumni in Singapore and are looking forward to fostering future connections with them in the future. Thank you to everyone who so generously gave up their time to attend and meet with us.
