A volume to which Dr Vika Ivleva contributed the article ‘In-Between the Global and the Local: Silk in Seventeenth- and Early Eighteenth-Century Russia’ has been selected for the short list of the Association of Dress Historians (ADH), Book of the Year (BOTY) Award 2024!

The book, In-Between Textiles, 1400–1700: Weaving Subjectivities and Encounters, was edited by Dr Beatriz Marín-Aguilera and Professor Stefan Hanß, and was published by Amsterdam University Press in February 2023.

The Association of Dress Historians offers various awards and grants annually to encourage the study of dress and textile history. The ADH Awards Committee will be reading the short list of books until November, with the winner to be announced at the next Annual General Meeting in December.
