We can offer you a world-class experience in all the languages we teach: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hispanic Studies, Italian, Japanese and Russian. MLAC regularly features in the top five in league tables such as the Good University Guide and the Complete University Guide. Some 80 full-time staff offer expertise in a wide range of subjects, including language, literature, cinema and visual culture, cultural history, philosophy, and translation. Together we will enable you to develop your linguistic, analytical and communication skills. You will spend your third year abroad, studying or working where the language/s you study is/are spoken. MLAC strives for openness, diversity, and multiculturalism, and we are committed to decolonising our curriculum. With the opportunity to study material from the medieval period right up to the present day, you have the freedom to follow your interests and to develop your own voice.
