Chinese Language 1B

This module aims to develop elementary-level skills in Chinese speaking, listening, reading and writing. The course will cover the basic grammar of Modern Standard Chinese and include a vocabulary of around 900 high frequency lexical items.

Teaching and Learning

You are required to attend the following:

• 2 language classes per week
• 1 aural language lab class per week
• 1 grammar class per week
• 1 oral class per week
• 1 formative test class per week
