A busy exhibition space full of displays and students

As students return to start the new academic year, our Careers and Enterprise Centre is already looking ahead to helping them into careers after graduation, planning a series of information events and activities over the coming months.

The experienced team from the Careers and Enterprise Centre will be running themed Career Weeks, focusing on some of the key graduate recruitment industries and areas of interest to students. These events will offer advice and information on careers in a wide range of industries and business areas, as diverse as Law, Charities, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths), Film & TV, Sustainability and Consulting, Banking & Finance.

Students are being encouraged to take part in a variety of in-person or virtual events run by graduate employers and key organisations from each sector, sharing information with students about work experience and graduate job opportunities, hints and tips on applications and much more!

Each week will be accompanied by online information and resources covering support with applications to the various sectors, employer information, live vacancies and information around required skills, also equality, diversity and inclusion in each industry.

Careers Fairs

The highlight of each week will be a Careers Fair, giving students the chance to engage with graduate recruiters and industry experts directly, to find out more about opportunities for work experience and graduate jobs in each particular sector.
