NERD Workshop Programme
The NERD group meets three to four times during term time to discuss working papers, research projects, grant proposals, and PhD dissertation chapters. Meetings are organised around draft papers circulated in advance, with sessions dedicated to constructive discussion on how to strengthen the work, particularly in terms of theoretical framing, research design, and empirical analysis.
The NERD convenor for 2025-26 is Dr Resul Umit, Durham University.
