A one-day workshop exploring sensory studies and medical humanities through short talks, creative activities, and networking.
Can you 'hear' disease? What does it feel like to 'smell' sickness?
This one-day workshop will bring together scholars in the interdisciplinary field of sensory studies and medical humanities to discuss current research relating to sensory experiences and perceptions of health, illness, and disease.
The event will include short presentations, informal dialogue via group activities, and networking opportunities for early career scholars.
This event is organised by the Affective Experience Lab of the Discovery Research Platform for Medical Humanities.
Please get in touch with us at imh.events@durham.ac.uk if you have any access requirements.
