Learning ARC

Purpose and Vision

The purpose of Learning Arc is to provide a regional platform of support for educational and community initiatives through sharing best practice, enabling all ages to engage in their local archive collections.

Our core ethos is to promote lifelong learning through local heritage and archive material; we achieve this through mutual support, regional partnership working and shared advocacy. Learning Arc is a non-judgemental, supportive group for collaborative learning, offering the opportunity for project and practice review in a supportive environment.

Membership

Our membership and supporting organisations represents the unique heritage of the North East region with members providing a diverse breadth of collections, working styles, knowledge and experience. We aim to ensure representation from all of the major archives for the region.
