Textured Expressions Art Workshop

Join us for a creative, mixed-media workshop exploring shape and texture and create your own textured artwork.

Victoria will guide you through using a range of found objects, paper, paint and fabric to create your own own unique panel.

About the Artist

Victoria developed a fascination with threads and textures by learning to knit as a child. The passion extended into embroidery and surface stitching and now encompasses felting, paper, printing, painting and dyeing and the use of found objects.

​She has been a member of the Embroiderers’ Guild since 1995 and has exhibited work throughout the North East both with the Guild and with FUSION Textile Artists, as well as with INTERFACE Arts.

Parking and Accessibility

Free parking is available at the Oriental Museum. Additional parking can be found at Elvet Hill which is a large University staff car park available for museum visitors on a weekend. For directions contact the Oriental Museum on 0191 334 5691.
