Painting for Beginners Workshop

Join us for a creative workshop with artist Wendy Parkin.

Wendy will guide you through the basics of drawing and painting a realistic sphere using light and shade, culminating in creating your own citrus fruit artwork.

The workshop is suitable for over 18s only.

All materials and tools are provided. No experience necessary.

£12 per person

About the artist

Wendy is the Chair of Interface Arts, a County Durham arts collective. She works mainly in oils and her preferred subject matter is children's and animal portraiture.

Parking and Accessibility

Free parking is available at the Oriental Museum. Additional parking can be found at Elvet Hill which is a large University staff car park available for museum visitors on a weekend. For directions contact the Oriental Museum on 0191 334 5691.
