Green Gown Award nominations 2025

Sustainability

Following the team’s submission of three applications this year, Durham University was shortlisted in two categories for the 2025 Green Gown Awards.

We were nominated in the following categories:

Student Engagement – recognising our work in empowering students to take sustainability action and lead on impactful initiatives.

Benefitting Society – celebrating our efforts to bring nature and wellbeing to the wider community through education outreach, citizen science, and regional partnerships.
