Bat survey, Hollingside Lane

Last week, the Greenspace team and the Durham Bat Conservation Society carried out a bat survey of the Old Cart Shed on Hollingside Lane.

Biodiversity Manager, Ian Armstrong, reported:

“There were lots of bats… The first was at 21:47 and was a common pipistrelle. We also had the rare brown long eared bat.”
