WEE waste in SU 3.png

Millions of unwanted electrical items are left forgotten in drawers every year, despite containing valuable resources that can be recovered and reused. This International E-Waste Day, 14 Oct 2026, help tackle one of the world's fastest-growing waste streams by recycling your unwanted electronics.

Whether it's an old phone, broken charger, unused hairdryer or worn-out headphones, every item recycled helps save resources, reduce carbon emissions and support a more circular economy.

  • Check your room or home
  • Find forgotten electronics
  • Recycle responsibly by dropping them off at the Student Union or at a local recycling point.

Remember to log your recycling actions on the My Greenspace app for a chance to win one of four monthly vouchers.
