The contribution by Ian Kenyon features a reunion in 2012 of nine members of the1964 King’s GDH cohort in chemistry, physics or maths. It mentions plans for another reunion in 2022. Although we did not meet then, six of us (and two partners) did meet again on 3rd July 2024, almost exactly 60 years after our graduation on 7th July 1964. After a convivial dinner at the Lumley Castle Hotel, the following day four of us visited the Great Hall at Durham Castle, the site of our graduation ceremony, followed by a tour of Durham Cathedral. Once again, it was a great pleasure to meet friends of 60 years and reminisce about our days at King’s.
