Dr Alexander Vanderwalle, "Play the Hero, or Play God Characterization of Greco-Roman Mythological Characters in Video Games"

The judging panel for the Durham Prize in Classical Reception has selected Dr Alexander Vanderwalle’s thesis, “Play the Hero, or Play God Characterization of Greco-Roman Mythological Characters in Video Games” for the first prize, on account of its originality and potential to define the field of historical gaming in Classical Reception.
