Durham Music ranked second in the Guardian University Guide 2027

The Guardian's subject tables rank departments on measures including teaching quality, student satisfaction, staff-student ratio, spending per student, entry tariff and graduate career outcomes. Music's placing is one of nineteen Durham subjects in the Guardian's top five this year, up from sixteen last year, with the University ranked sixth overall.
