Durham University COP31 Side Event Watch Party

Durham University will join leading international research and policy organisations at COP31 to host an official UNFCCC side event exploring how science can drive effective climate mitigation and adaptation. The event is being delivered in partnership with TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute, India), Science Europe and the German Research Foundation (DFG), bringing together senior representatives from academia, research funding organisations and policy communities across Europe and the Global South.

The event will be livestreamed in Room 406 at the Calman Learning Centre, giving students the chance to see the Durham University delegation in action at COP31 alongside an international panel of experts from the research and policy community, discussing how research organisations and policy bodies can work together to tackle the biggest climate questions facing the world.
