Cover slide with text: 25 Years of Medical Humanities at Durham: A celebration in honour of Jane Macnaughton

The recording of Jane Macnaughton’s retirement event is now available to watch.

We came together to celebrate 25 years of Medical Humanities at Durham and to mark Jane’s retirement after an extraordinary career at the University.

Since establishing the Centre for Arts and Humanities in Health and Medicine in 2000, Jane has been at the heart of Medical Humanities at Durham, helping to build the field through her research, leadership, mentorship and collaborations around the world.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Jane’s many achievements and to hear from colleagues and friends about the impact she has had on the Institute and the wider Medical Humanities community. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to celebrate her contribution to Medical Humanities.

If you weren’t able to join us, or would like to revisit the celebration, you can now watch the full recording below or visit the IMH website to watch the event.
