Welcome to Anthropology at Durham

Anthropology is the study of humanity. Our students have the opportunity to explore the breadth of the subject and develop highly transferable skills in research, communication and critical thinking. We offer a residential field course where our students put their anthropological training into practice at a range of European sites. An Anthropology degree equips you with skills and experience that are valued in a wide range of careers, including business, education, health, government, sustainability and many more.
