This course covers the scientific and social scientific study of humanity including our evolutionary origins and relationship to other primates.

The BA Anthropology and Sociology course provides a comprehensive understanding of humans as social and cultural beings.

This course provides a wide choice of subjects to study and does not require applicants to study any particular subject.

You can also take Anthropology as part of a broader, bespoke degree programme in Liberal Arts, Combined Honours in Social Sciences or Natural Sciences.

Did we mention Fieldwork? We are the only UK Department to offer a residential field course to all our undergraduate students. Fieldwork is a central method of research throughout anthropology.
