Departmental field trips abroad

We aim to run a departmental study trip abroad every two years. The most recent trip took place in summer 2026: students visited Greece, with tours to sites including the Acropolis, Delphi and Mycenae. Trips have a limited number of spaces and are partly self-funded by participants.

We are very grateful to overseas institutions and collaborators who have hosted our students for placements in recent years, including the British School at Athens and the Despotiko Excavations.
