The design for Common Awards programmes and modules was developed by the Ministry Development Team in partnership with the TEIs, and in consultation with Durham. Revisions to that design – to programme specifications, module outlines, assessment criteria and various other matters – is overseen by the Continuing Implementation Group (CIG), before being considered by the University for approval.
TEIs who wish to introduce a new programme at the Common Awards Curriculum Framework level should contact the Common Awards Team for more information on this process. Draft proposals will be needed well in advance of the January deadline.
TEIs who wish to propose changes to overarching Common Awards programme specifications or module outlines, or propose a new module at the Common Awards Framework level should contact the Common Awards Team or Ministry Development Team for more information on this process.
